Brand Curator
The Writer's Workout is looking for a skilled writer to manage and grow the current Writer's Workout blog. This position is not recommended for individuals without blogging experience. Must have strong, independent voice.
DUTIES:

Works closely with Development team to create educational blog posts on a consistent basis.

Thoroughly researches topics to present well-rounded view of concepts.

Works closely with Community Coordinator to promote blog and gain readership.

Works closely with The Writer's Workout team to produce guest workshops; interviews presenters/guests as needed.

Maintains posting schedule based on the needs of the group.

Produces guest posts.

Provides motivating environment and encourages participation/discussion about topics.
REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma or equivalent required, college/university preferred.

Self-starter.

Demonstrates clear understanding of the purpose of The Writer's Workout.

Must be willing to donate time initially (until funding is available), about 3-4 hours per month.

Portfolio strongly encouraged.

Community Coordinator
The Writer's Workout is looking for a motivated social media wizard to develop and promote events and activities.
DUTIES:

Manages social media accounts across several platforms to grow member base.

Creates shareable content to promote group activities across platforms.

Works with Development team to promote Writer's Games, workshops, contests and activities.

Promotes and assists in blog readership growth.

Works with The Writer's Workout team to produce guest workshops.

Works closely with the Executive Director to promote The Writer's Games.

Provides motivating environment and encourages participation/discussion about topics.
