Hello, as it states in the Writer's games rules, all submissions are to be made in Chicago Manual of Style. I have researched the format online and am getting mixed signals on what needs to be done for the formatting. I have never wrote in this format before and just wanted to make sure I'm going to do it correctly! Thank you, I appreciate your help!

Hi Ava, welcome to The Writer's Workout! If you check the Writer's Games page, around half-way down there's a box called Submissions & Formatting. Everything you need to properly format your entry is right there. Additionally, we provide tips for formatting improvement with your Practice Event feedback. Good luck this portion!
Thank you!
Hey, inspite of the format present is it possible for anyone to drop a format file or anything alike, just so that we could cancel out the errors. I'm scared that our stories might be rejected just in case we miss-format the document.
Unlike other contests, entries to The Writer's Games are not rejected for incorrect formatting. The Submissions & Formatting box on the Writer's Games page provides a clear checklist to help you get it right. WW uses the same information other contests use, though they don't typically spell it out the way we do.
Can you guide to me to where it says formatting mistakes lead to complete rejection?
Maybe @Huda Zainab means incorrect title info? As specified in 2.b.i of the rules "Failure to include proper Title Information for Writer's Games entries will result in entry disqualification." I must admit (1st timer here) this is terrifying...
Quick question to be sure I get it correct: is "Entry Title" whatever name we give our story and "Event Name" the event as shown, for example, in the Writer's Games Events List ("BIZARRE BAZAAR" etc?) and would we also use all caps for the event name? Ok that was more than one question LOL
Thank you!
Yes, entry title refers to the title you name your entry and Event name refers to the active Event. The only reason we list the Event name in all caps during the announcement is so it's easier for you to see. You can follow the sample provided in the Rules and the submissions box on the Games page, just swap out the items for your real response.
It's also important to note Rule 7, where it says that entry disqualification does not take you completely out of Games... and you still get feedback for the piece.
@The Writer's Workout Oh! I suppose I got a little carried away... Thank You very much for clearing the doubt!
